Imagine sleeping under the stars, on an island 70 miles from civilization, with the warm tropical breezes blowing through palm trees and the rhythmic sound of the ocean waves playing in the background. Camping is limited so make your reservations now.

Camping at Fort Jefferson is PRIMITIVE CAMPING! In other words, you must bring everything (water included) with you.

Before you make a camping reservation, please read about our Dry Tortugas Camping information. For your comfort and safety it is extremely important that you read this information. If you have any questions please call 1-800-322-0013 or 305-294-7009.

If you would like to camp at the Dry Tortugas National Park, you must be at the Yankee Freedom II no later than 6:30am the morning of your trip with all of your gear and provisions. We're sorry, due to National Park Service regulations, we cannot supply you with any provisions once you are out there.

Be sure to have all your Dry Tortugas Camping Checklist of items to take on your camping trip to Dry Tortugas National Park.
